IMSYS (Injury Management Systems) Wrist Brace Plus Heat and Cold w/ Re-usable Hot or Cold Pods. Kit Includes: 1 Neoprene Brace 2 Re-useable Pods 1 Aluminum Support Features: Two Patented Liquid/Gel Filled PVC Plastic Pods (Can be heated in a microwave oven, or cooled in a freezer, or a combination of both). Moldable Aluminum For Rigid Support. Soft Stretch-Cotton Pockets Inside. Durable, Adjustable Neoprene Brace Holds the Pods Firmly Against The Wrist, and Naturally Retains Heat or Cold. Instructions for Use: For Cold Therapy. Place blue pod component into freezer for one half to one hour, place pods into Brace pockets. Use Cold therapy to manage inflammation, pain and to prevent injury. Use Cold therapy: immediately after the injury to reduce swelling or after an intense workday using computer or power tools. For Heat Therapy. Place red pod component in microwave oven on high setting for 30 seconds. Note: ovens of different wattage require different heating times. Adjust accordingly. If not hot enough, continue to heat in 10 second intervals to reach desired temperature. Do not overheat pods; handle with extreme care. Discontinue use if the compress leaks. The gel is non-toxic, wash with cold water if gel contacts skin. Use heat therapy: to reduce stiffness and increase circulation. Use at night with splint for nagging arthritis pain, carpal tunnel. Brace fiber content: 77% Neoprene (SBR) 13% Stretch Nylon 10% Cotton Spandex. Caution: Direct contact of neoprene (SBR) with skin may cause skin irritation in some persons.
